Welcome to Cove61! We hope you have a great time! Following is the information you will need to help you settle in.
- Directions: Cove61 is located at 68522 J. Street, Cathedral City, CA, 92234 (corner of J Street and Cathedral Canyon). From Interstate10 in the Palm Springs area, take the Gene Autrey Drive exit and drive south. Drive seven miles to the end of Gene Autrey, which brings to you Highway 111. Turn left on Highway 111 (east), and drive two miles, to Cathedral Canyon Drive and turn right. Drive up Cathedral Canyon ½ mile, to the corner of J Street, turn left onto J Street, and immediately turn into the circular driveway.
- Deposit and Cancellations: There is a deposit required payable when your reservations are made. Deposit will not be refunded if the reservation is canceled less than two weeks (14 days) prior to the guest’s scheduled arrival. The guest will forfeit deposit if there is no cancellation, and the guest fails to appear for their scheduled stay.
- Check in/out: At least three hours prior to arriving, please call Bob, at (760) 880-2375 so he can meet you upon arrival. Please try to arrive after 9 am, and before 8 pm. Check-out time is 11 am on the day of your departure.
- Pool: You are welcome to use the pool. If you would like the pool heated there is an extra charge for heat-up based on an energy charge for actual use. These fees are not charged during the months the pool is heated by the desert sun (usually June-October).
- Outdoor Fireplace and BBQ: You are welcome to use the outdoor fireplace and bbq.
- Towels and Sheets: Fresh towels and linens are provided upon arrival. During your stay, you are welcome to use the washer and dryer to clean your towels and sheets during your stay.
- Laundry: You are welcome to use the laundry facility located in the hallway between the main house and garage, off the pool area.
- Kitchen: The kitchen is available for the use and enjoyment of guests. Please be sure to clean-up after yourselves, leaving the kitchen as you found it.
- Common Living and Dining Areas: You are welcome to use the common areas.
- Cleaning: Basic cleaning services are provided on a regular basis. Additional cleaning/ maid services are available upon request and for additional charge.

House Rules
Cove61 is a private retreat designed for those who enjoy or need a quiet place to stay for a limited time, and who will treat the home and the neighborhood with appreciation and respect. With this in mind, the following house rules have been established. Those who violate the rules will be asked to vacate the home and forfeit their payment for any time remaining.
- Noise: While the house is very private, Cove61 is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. As a courtesy to the neighbors, and other guests, excessive noise is forbidden. Guests who cause the neighbors or other guests to complain may be considered in violation the rules.
- Smoking: Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor patio area. It is not allowed in the house.
- Pets: Cove61 is pet friendly. Pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis. A $100 pet deposit, and an extra $10 daily cleaning fee, will be required.
- Drugs: The use of illicit drugs on the property is strictly forbidden.
- Condition Upon Departure: Guests are expected to leave their room and the home in a reasonable state of order and cleanliness. If the room is excessively dirty or upset upon checkout you will be assessed an additional charge for extra cleaning. You will also be charged for items that are missing or damaged.
